The mission of the Hawkesbury Chamber of Commerce is to promote the commercial, industrial, agricultural, and civic well-being of the Hawkesbury region. The Chamber is a non-profit organization who brings together energetic and resourceful individuals, committed to improving the quality of life for local entrepreneurs, their families, and the community. The Chamber is preoccupied by the needs of its business community and provides opportunities for members to promote and develop their businesses through various activities and events. The Chamber also represents its members locally and in neighboring communities.

The Chamber's administration is composed of a team of 7 volunteers, who form the board of directors, and who has appointed a coordinator to oversee the ongoing activities and operations of the organization.

Carl Portelance
Entrepreneur and project manager in the construction industry, Carl Portelance is the founder of Portex Enterprises Ltd. With a strong presence in both Ontario and Quebec, Carl specializes in managing Industrial and Commercial (retail) projects. His approach combines hands-on field experience with a strategic vision for local development. A proud supporter of regional growth, he brings a practical perspective and entrepreneurial energy to the Chamber's board of directors.

Nick Oda
Nick Oda is the founder and CEO of Ginga Technology Solutions, a Managed IT Services Provider. With expertise in networking and cybersecurity, he helps businesses optimize their IT infrastructure.
Bilingual and client-focused, Nick is known for reliable service across Ontario and Quebec.

Johanne Seguin
Pilar of our board and a dedicated community leader, Johanne Séguin brings years of experience in administration and public service to the Hawkesbury & Region Chamber of Commerce. Known for her commitment to local development and civic engagement, she plays an active role in supporting initiatives that strengthen regional business ties. Johanne’s collaborative approach and deep roots in the community make her a valuable asset to the Chamber’s board of directors.

Jacob Massicotte
Jacob is a bilingual entrepreneur from Hawkesbury and the founder of MassClean, a company specializing in window cleaning and post-construction cleaning services. As he advances in his entrepreneurial journey, he brings a perspective focused on action, modernization, and continuous improvement of member services. He is particularly interested in how businesses and the community can grow and evolve together.

Murielle Huneault Pilon
Community leader and business owner, Murielle Huneault-Pilon is the owner of Prescott Electric Motor, a well-established family business serving the region for many years. Following a career of more than 30 years with the Prescott-Russell Employment Services Centre, she recently retired and remains actively engaged in the local business community. A former President of the Hawkesbury & Region Chamber of Commerce, Murielle brings valuable leadership experience, community knowledge, and a strong commitment to regional economic development.

Marketing and communications professional, Carole Muise is the founder of CJM Communications. With nearly 30 years of experience, she helps businesses and organizations enhance their visibility and communications. Passionate about community engagement and economic development, she brings valuable expertise and perspective to the Chamber's Board of Directors.
